FOUR Statement

Four is devoted to the development of an uninhibited artistic exploration of ideas, discourses and new trends in contemporary art and its practices. It sees its function as promoting, supporting and bringing contemporary art, curators and the artists who take part in its evolution to the public's attention.

Six exhibitions will be scheduled within the year. They will represent a cross-section of artistic disciplines, placing the spotlight on noteworthy contemporary art practice. Another initiative that the gallery proposes is to develop a continual discussion through a series of lectures. The contributors will derive from a broad community of curators, critics, artists and historians.

Overall, Four will provide an open forum and engaging environment, which endeavors to inspire creativity, nurture relationships and stimulate discourse on the art of our time.
